🏕 Sand Bay Family Campground – Park

Rules & Regulations 2026

✨ Please take a moment to read our Rules and Regulations before staying with us.

We are a family-centered campground. Use of the campground and its equipment and facilities

is solely at your own risk.

Sand Bay Family Campground is not responsible for any stolen or damaged property.

🔔 The campground reserves the right to ask any camper to leave the property and terminate the

License to Occupy for non-compliance with the rules stated below with no refund. Rules are

subject to change without notice and at the discretion of management.

🙏 We appreciate your cooperation to ensure a safe and fun camping experience for all!

📌 Rule #1 – RESPECT

This is a seasonal RV park, and everyone is here to enjoy themselves. Please be respectful and

considerate of your neighbors and fellow campers.

🎶 Music is for your own ears only – no one else should hear it.

🙌 Treat others the way you’d like to be treated.

🏡 Use of Park Facilities

📅 Seasonal Use: Seasonal trailers may only be occupied from May 15th – October 12th

(weather dependent). They are not mobile homes and cannot be used as a permanent residence.

🚫 No entry in the off-season without prior permission.

📄 A copy of up-to-date trailer and liability insurance is required for Seasonal Campers❗ Failure to provide insurance will result in termination of the License of Occupancy for

seasonal Campers.

✅ Trailers older than 10 years are allowed in the park and may be sold within the campground at

the owner’s discretion.

❌ No subletting. Only registered occupants may use the site.

🔥 All trailers must have fire extinguishers and proper smoke detectors.

🧑🧑🧒🧒 All sites allow 2 adults + children under 18.

All other adults are considered guests and must be registered and paid in advance.

⏱ Check-In & Check-Out

🛎 All visitors must register with the managers.

• 🕑 Campsite Check-in: 4 PM – 7 PM (No check-ins after 7:00 PM unless pre-arranged)

• 🛌 Cottage Check-in: 4 PM – 7 PM (No check-ins after 7:00 PM unless pre-arranged)

• 🚪 Campsite Check-out: 11 AM

• 🚪 Cottage Check-out: 10 AM

💰 Late departures may incur charges.

🐶 Pet Policy

Pets are welcome if these rules are followed:

• 🐕 Always on a short leash & under control

• 🐶 No excessive barking or disturbances

• 🏡 Never leave pets unattended

• 💩 Clean up after your dog

• 🚫 Pets are not allowed on the beach or in buildings (only dog swim area)

📋 General Rules

• 🔕 Quiet time: 11 PM – 8 AM

• 🔉 Keep voices and music to your own campsite only

• 🚗 Speed Limit: 8 km/h – strictly enforced

• 🗑 Garbage: Clear bags only; recycle properly; no non-kitchen waste in the bins – $75

fine if violated

• 🚫 No fireworks or firearms

• 🍻 Alcohol: Allowed only at your campsite; no glass when visiting other sites

• 🤬 No rude, drunk, or disruptive behavior

• 🚭 No cigarette butts or garbage on the ground

• 🏕 Tents only in designated areas – not allowed on seasonal trailer sites.

• 🔥 Fires must be fully extinguished before leaving or sleeping

• 🚴 Helmets encouraged for biking, skateboarding, or ATV use

• 🏖 Beach is unsupervised – swim at your own risk during daylight

• 🚗 Parking must be on your own site only – no parking on beach or empty sites

• ⚡ Hydro meters must not be tampered with

• 🚭 Follow License of Occupancy for cannabis, tobacco & alcohol rules

• 🪵 No outside firewood – purchase on-site only

• ⛺ Tents allowed only on designated tent sites. Only 1 tent per site

👥 Visitors

All campers are responsible for their guests.

• ✅ Visitors must be approved, registered, and paid before arriving

• ❌ No surprise guests allowed

🏖 Beach Rules

• 🚫 No motorized vehicles on the beach

• ⛵ No parking boats, trailers, or seadoos on the beach

• 🐶 Dogs can swim only in the designated area

🚽 Sewage & Washrooms

• 🔧 Sewage hoses must be sealed at the drain

• 💧 Use biodegradable holding tank chemicals (no formaldehyde or chlorine)

• 🚫 No flushing of wipes, pads, diapers, etc.

• 🧻 Use single-ply toilet paper only

🛺 Golf Carts & ATVs

• 🧑 Must be 18+ with valid G license to drive a golf cart (or with adult supervision)

• 🧒 Must be 16+ to drive ATV (or with adult supervision)

• 🌅 No driving before dawn or after sunset

• 🚗 Speed limit: 8 km/h

• 🚫 No driving under influence or with open alcohol

🌳 Trees & Shrubs

🌱 Do not cut or remove trees or plants without permission. Respect nature!

🧱 Site Improvements

🏡 Seasonal trailers and sites must be well-maintained.

• ✍ Written permission is required before building decks, roofs, sunrooms, etc.

• 🚫 No fences unless previously grandfathered in

• 🔲 Patios or stones are property of the park once installed

• 🔄 Restore your site to original condition when vacating

🛻 Trailer Sales

• 🚫 No sales without management consent

• 💰 10% transfer fee applies• 💲 $600 + HST for campground-listed trailers

• 🚫 No “For Sale” signs allowed

• ✅ Trailers older than 10 years are allowed in the park and may be sold within the

campground at the owner’s discretion.
